I like to use a technique called (HDR) High Dynamic Range on the outside photos of a home as appropiate. This is where you take 3 pictures of the same shot in different exposure settings and then combine them for overall evenly exposed result.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) Photography : This is a series of images that were taken using High Dynamic Range Technology. This is where you combine multiple exposures of the same shot resulting in a more evenly balanced exposed shot and clarity. HDR makes images look like they are three dimensional and you feel like you are right there in the scene.
